This information will include the births and deaths. recording sessions. unique, LP and CD release dates. and other interesting tidbits. 11 December 1936 Mitchell Land was born in the County of Koufman. Land has played with the Blue Grass Boys for a short period in the mid.1960s.

Of the sedan Byron played violin for Bill Monroe, Mitch Land, who met sedan by Alan Munde played guitar on some of the same dates. However, the main instrument of Land was the mandolin.

Later, he was one of the three area Dallas - bluegrass musicians with his brother Louis "Bosco" Land and 'Tootie' Williams - Harless, in 1965, with Munde amalgamated to form the Stone Mountain Boys, a band that had an album out Briar-Tacoma Records.

In 1975 Land moves Texas Wyoming where he had gone to work in the oil industry.

A selector of virtuoso, who can play blues licks as Monroe or cross-pick as Jesse McReynolds, Land passed away in 2003 of heart problems and other complications.
