Johnny Depp scored a double whammy, pick two appointments in the same category - best actor in a comedy film or musical. He received the names to play the Hatter Alice in the country of wonders and as a man stumbling in an international network of intrigue in tourism - a film that Sony Pictures sold as a romantic thriller. Angelina Jolie, its attractive costar in the film, received an appointment as well.
Announcement of the names of tourism drew laughter audio crowd of press and publicists assembled at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the announcement before dawn.
In the race for the best film drama, speech, network and hunting IRA against the ballet theatre Black Swan and dream initial thriller when the globes are presented on 16 January.
