"Jersey Shore" Ronnie Indicted on charges of assault (cbsnews)

TOMS RIVER, New Jersey on December 17, 2010 (PA) one of the stars of reality show MTV "Jersey Shore" was charged for an assault which prosecutors say happened all of camera in the first season.

A grand jury in the County of the ocean, New Jersey, said that there were elements of proof that Ronald "Ronnie" Ortiz-Magro committed a crime.

The indictment was published on Thursday and made public Friday.

The grand jury said that TV 25-year-old reality star struck a man with punched on September 4, 2009, when the show was filmed in Seaside Heights. While the punch was not posted on the show, Ortiz-Magro has been bragging about it.

Prosecutors said they hoped to resolve the matter without an indictment Asbury Park Press.

No lawyer is listed for Ortiz-Magro. MTV advertisers not immediately respond to requests for comment Saturday.

George Michael does judging US 'X factor' (Starpulse)

Music mogul Simon Cowell shot reports That George Michael is set to join him as a judge on the u.s. version of the X Factor.
The hitmaker faith was rumoured to prepare to make his return with a central role in reality TV shows after that he was spotted a meeting with the X factor creator Cowell in November.
But Cowell dismissed speculation, telling "Extra" Terri Seymour, TV presenter "(Michael) will not be a judge on the United States X factor".

Lacey Turner has admitted that it has not aligned jobs for when it leaves EastEnders.
